Good games are built on purpose.

I'm Brad, a game engineer who leads both the code and the work around it. As Lead Game Engineer at Koin Games on Origins TCG, I drive initiatives, help set objectives and build the systems that ship them. I also run my own studio, Intentional Games.

Engineering

Gameplay, systems and multiplayer

I build the systems that create the fun. Gameplay, combat, UI, I've done it all! I love creating polished experiences that players enjoy. Although I'm most comfortable working client-side and in a game engine, I also have experience working with backend systems for things like inventory management, analytics, and stats.

Leading the team

I lead initiatives, help define objectives and keep teams pointed at the same goal. I believe that evaluating and optimizing 'how' teams work can help create an environment where people can do amazing creative work while still meeting deadlines. I am a big believer in building up soft-skills and promoting clear communication to ensure alignment.
